Australia’s own Monkey Marc is known for mashing hip-hop and dub, and this he does on his latest release Monkey Marc vs The Planet Smashers, a 12” collecting six cuts, including a lethal dubbed-out remix of Roots Manuva’s Who Goes There, courtesy of Jahtari’s own Disrupt.
The emphasis on this 12” is not on hip-hop, but on the more eccentric and experimental side of dub.
Monkey Marc vs The Planet Smashers was released as 12” and digital download on February 28th.
