A conference on Rasta culture, history and identity in Jamaica.

A Quest for the Heart of the Rastafari is a conference on Rasta culture, history and identity scheduled to take place in Negril, Jamaica, from March 7th to 13th 2009.

This event, which is co-sponsored by the Rastafari Indigenous Village, looks interesting. In addition to conferences chaired by renowned specialists of the movement such as Barry Chevannes, Yasus Afari and Barbara Blake Hannah, there will be live reggae music, poetry, tribal drumming and more.
