The end of a Jamaican phenomenon.

The final curtains came down on one of the longest running concert series in Jamaica as Startime the Final Chapter was brought to a close on the night of Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Mas Camp, Kingston, Jamaica. The series can boast of having over 152 shows with hundreds of artistes gracing the stage, including the likes of Dennis Brown, John Holt, Phyllis Dillon, Gregory Isaacs and Marcia Griffiths.

Thousands were in attendance on Saturday to see, and most importantly hear Horace Andy, Cornel Campbell, Marcia Griffiths, Ernie Smith, Leroy Sibbles and U Roy. The audience were also treated to surprise performances by Beres Hammond, Half Pint and Bob Andy. Startime has left a void in the entertainment calendar that will surely be difficult to fill.
