BlackAmber Books, is the home for fresh talent, and in particular, unpublished second and third generation British and European writers. The company was launched in February 1998 with One Bright Child, a novel by Jamaican author, Patricia Cumper. BlackAmber is the home of the best writing emanating from the vibrant, mostly young, immigrant-descended population.
