Bim Sherman, died in 2000, was a reggae roots singer who had always defended a message through his sweet voice.
He was born in 1952, in the parish of Westmorleand, Jamaica. Throughout his career, he has been an independant artist producing and distributing several of his singles and albums on his own labels (Century, RDL...). His first opus "Love Forever", a conscious roots reggae album has been released in 1978 on Tribes Man label. His meeting with the english producer Adrian Sherwood (On U Sound records) in 1979 was a turning point in Bim Sherman’s career. This collaboration saw the release of several albums such as "Across The Red Sea", "Century" or "Miracle". In 30 years of career, Bim Sherman has released about thirty albums.
