Ricardo ‘Ras cardo’ Scott takes a very serious look at his homeland Jamaica with sadness and grief concerning the continued downpression of his people especially the poor, the underclass and the ghetto youths. He shows how reggae music’s vision and purpose for the suffering masses has been denied them. He warns of the impending destruction that is bound to follow if the killings and downpression is not stopped. Reggae’s message of the prophecy must be fulfilled. Ricardo is telling the world what Bob Marley and Peter- Tosh did not live long enough to tell them. In this time,he is the only one so far who is unafraid to tell it like it really is and what is the true message of Reggae, a sound he named and helped to create in Trench-Town. The corrupt politicians still- " deceive the people continually" as Bob sang about. They use the weakest youths to destroy others with guns and now cocaine- driving the people insane-as Luciano sings. Too much blood on the streets of Jamaica. One day soon Jamaica will have to pay. Reggae prophecy must be fulfilled. Selah, Rastafari. The Reggae prophets have spoken. Ras Cardo Has written the reggae truths which a lot of other people fears to express.
