"A lot of people have studio, but not everybody can mix or master a song to perfection." Ratigan was born in Portmore, Jamaica. He began performing at school. After he left high school he began writing and recording his own songs which caught the attention of Mad Cobra and they formed a musical partnership. Ratigan also produced many artists such as Gyptian, Spice, L.U.S.T, Terry Linen, Bascom X, Anthony B and Mad Cobra. In 2012 they built their own studio with Mad Cobra, Jallanzo and others from Brixton Music Group where they have been recording Mega Banton, Frisko Kid, Mad Cobra, I-Octane, Dubtonic Kru, Iba MaHr, Nature, Warrior King, I-Wayne along with innerhouse artists. Nowadays the studio is well-known in the area and plays a key-role in Portmore musical landscape. We met him last year at BMG studio in Portmore to talk about the studio, the projects but also changes in reggae business. He also played his song Reggae Vibez with Jallanzo from Dubtonic Kru.
