Mass-I Records are back with their fourth vinyl 10"... Love Dub ! And this time we find the singer Ras Daniel Ray on both sides for versions mixed by Dougie Wardrop (Conscious Sounds). Their first 3 superb vinyl 7"s released in 2006 with Ranking Joe, Rod Taylor, Prince Alla are now collectibles. In 2014 the two partners of Mass-I Records Fisha and Loota have revived their label with this superb forthcoming 10" release recorded with Ras Daniel Ray.
In line with their first three productions, it includes 2 Conscious Reggae Dub tracks followed by the Dub versions! On the A side Ras Daniel delivers a hymn to Dub with 'Love Dub' on which he thanks his inspirations and delivers his love for this music, conjoined to 2 Dub versions, one with the voice, the other, percussions, giving us the pace with a well-rounded bass and effects galore!
On the B side is the very groovy 'Ghetto Music' underpinned by a Roots Dub rhythm, on which Ras Daniel Ray exploits all the vocal flights in his repertoire. The Vocal on the second part is furnished with Delay, Reverb, and everything necessary for an entrancing Dub!
This 10" vinyl MASS004 was mixed by Dougie Wardrop (Bush Chemists / Conscious Sound) with stunning graphics once again by Seb Chevalier aka Legras Fist.
