After the wonderful concert by Bunny Wailer, the event Eutropia – l’altra città festival of Rome welcomes on its stage the Italian Jamaican Alberto d’Ascola, aka Alborosie, for a date of his long Sound the System Tour 2014. The loyal audience filled the beautiful area at the foot of Monte Testaccio, in a night full of stars, in this summer full of rain. After the fans, Alborosie also conquered the clouds that gives a break for one night. Together with his Shengen Clan Band, he gave us an intense, joyful and positive show, with pieces of his last album and his greatest hits, like Kingston Town, Herbalist or Still Blazing, or the newest Camilla, with which he open the concert, and Who Run The Dance or Rock The Danchall.
There is also time for a solo exhibition of the chorister Sandy Smith with the pleasant No Joking Thing, and the beatbox solo by Antonio Tarantino before returning to his keyboards. Other dates in Italy, France and Holland await the Italian Jamaican singer, thousands of fans are awaiting to hear his live songs and dance them. He is an artist who confirms show after show his musician and composer talent, he has a well-deserved and recognized success around the world. An Italian pride!
