Emancipation Park, located in the heart of New Kingston came alive on Thursday, December 23rd with Tarrus Riley & Friends annual free concert. The event which has been growing in popularity over the years was even better this year. The venue was jam packed with patrons who came to see their favorite artiste perform and were also treated to several surprise guest artistes.
Most artistes were backed by Tarrus Riley's Black Soil band and several other musicians who contributed their talent. On several occasion during the concert the audience was brought to their feet as they were honored with several of Jamaica's top artiste each performing on stage at the very same time. For many in the audience this has not been witnessed on stage in recent times.
