"It's like a second home to me. I love Jamaica and Jamaica loves me"

One of the miracles of Jamaica's popular music, is that it managed to speak to people all over the world. Half a century after it started conquering the world, not many countries remain untouched. One more proof is French-Norwegian reggae artist Nico D, who released his album 'Coming in from the Cold' in March, featuring artists such as Jah Mason, Turbulence andsaxophonist Dean Fraser.

Photographer Odile Meylan met him in Oslo, between a sound system and a photo shooting for his coming album, to talk about his experience as an European performer in front of Jamaica's - widely regarded as very tough - audience.
