Chezidek aka Desbert Johnson was born in 1973 in St Ann, Jamaica. Like many current artists, he started singing from an early age and was inspired by veterans like Peter Tosh, Bob Marley or Culture. He recorded his debut album, “Harvest Time” in 2002 on VP Records containing great tunes such as "Can't Hear Must Feel" and "Breakfree". From that time, he has notably released two others albums, "Rising Sun" in 2005 and "Inna Di Road" in 2007, both on VP Records.
