The launch for Reggae Sumfest 2014 was recently held at the Country Side club in Kingston. The promoters of the event outlined the lineup and what patrons can expect for this year’s event scheduled for July 14-19th.
The promoters have maintained their standards of bringing in international acts to perform. This year, the line-up includes the winner of the popular US television show The Voice, Jamaica’s own Tessane Chin, Wiz Kalifa, Future and Jason Derulo as international acts.
Patrons will be equally delighted with the local acts, as they will be treated to the likes of Sanchez who has not performed in Jamaica for the past five years. In addition, to icons of their respective genres such as Freddie McGregor, Bounty Killer and Beenie Man, artistes such as Jesse Royal, Jah Cure and Busy Signal are billed to perform at this year’s Reggae Sumfest. All the indications are that this summer festival will not disappoint patrons.
