Tarrus Riley performed the 3rd of September in Kingston for Christmas Aid and Back To School.

tarrusTarrus Riley was the featured guest at Live in the City held last Wednesday, September 3rd at Cru Bar & Kitchen, Lady Musgrave Road, Kingston. Staged by Marriott International Promotion in association with Hob Nob & Mercedes Benz, the event saw Tarrus Riley and his Black Soil Band performing for in excess of an hour for the patrons. It was clear that the catalogue of hits that he had to choose from is rapidly growing.

During his tight set, his performances included his signature ‘She’s Royal’, along with ‘Human Nature’, ‘Stay with You’ and ‘Barber Chair’. The patron benefited from and enjoyed the appearance from fellow artistes, such as Bugle, Chevaughn and Duane “August Town” Stephenson, who joined him on stage.

The event which was partially in aid of Tarrus Riley’s Christmas Aid and Back to School charity. While the patrons slowly trickled in at the beginning, by the ending of the show there was hardly place to walk as the venue was full to capacity with eagerly waiting Tarrus Riley fans.
