Patrons were treated to another event in the series ‘Keesing Live’ on Saturday, October 18th at 5 Keesing Avenue in Kingston. The show featured a well selected mixture of young and veteran artistes. Holding true to its tradition, the show started promptly at 8pm with Kimea showcasing her talents to many who have never seen her perform before. She was followed by One Third and the rising reggae singer Kelissa. She did a great job of warming up the audience for surprise guest artiste Chronixx, who joined her on stage to the delight of the screaming audience.
Veteran singer Pluto was the first of the big guns to hit the stage. He started with his hits, ‘Your Honor’, ‘I Man Born Yah’ and the ever popular ‘Ram Goat Liver’, which had the audience singing along. Next up was Ernie Smith and he did not disappoint. A singer who always sounds like his original recordings he gave the patrons a well rehearsed set with the anticipated songs for which he is best known, including ‘One Dream’, ‘All for Jesus’, ‘Pitta Patta’ and much more. Keesing live was one of the key events to have attended during the National Heroes weekend.
