On the heels of his successful album, Tell It Like It Is, Stevie Face has released his third album. This one he aptly named My Time and is his second album working with producer Computer Paul. Computer Paul was awarded Producer of the year 2014 by the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) and has worked with several artistes over the years, producing several chart toppers.
The album My Time consists of eighteen (18) solid tracks. All tracks were produced by Computer Paul with the exception of three. Of the three, Spread Your Wings was produced by Dwight Smith, If a Nuh Jah produced by James Allen Lord and Da Lovin Nice, produced by Willie Lindo a well accomplished producer who can also be credited for Beres Hammond’s What One Dance Can Do and the Inseparable Album for Dennis Brown.
Although the album has a few covers on it, ten of the eighteen tracks are either written or co written by Stevie Face and this gives the album a balance. The album includes top musicians such as saxophonist Dean Fraser, guitarist Mitchum ‘Khan’ Chin, Willie Lindo, Everal ‘Stingwray’ on horns, Val Douglas and Computer Paul who played on several of the tracks. Their work is definitely reflected in the outcome of this beautiful album. The release of My Time will surely take to a next level in his rapidly growing career and give his fans another set of songs to sing and dance to.
