Anti-Bypass meets Joe Pilgrim and Shanti D – D

Final part of the Dub Addict Sound System vinyl series "SOUND"

Begun in 2005, the vinyl series "SOUND" by Dub Addict Sound System concludes today with the release of the 12”"D," which includes production by Anti-Bypass, accompanied by the singers Joe Pilgrim and Shanti D.

Almost ten years—that’s the time that collectors had to wait to see their Dub Addict vinyl collection complete. With the release of "D", you can now position these vinyls side by side and write the five letters: SOUND!

Dub Addict The oldest of you will recall the genesis of this series in 2005 by the dubmakers Pilah and Roots Massacre, which included the superb title Fools Policy sung by Learoy Greenwho was also present on the second vinyl . Since then the singer The Pilgrim joined up (who became Joe Pilgrim before he was added to the project) and he was on the following three releases, including "D".

This time, it's Manu aka Anti-Bypass who is responsible for the riddim. As a follower of King Tubby, Anti-Bypass produces incredible vintage in the tradition of Roots & Dub from the 70's, the time of the old Jamaican studio’s legend. Anti-Bypass is passionate, even to the point of building and modifying his own recording and mixing equipment.

Lovers of "old school" Roots and Dub will be delighted with this release, especially hearing the voice sof Joe Pilgrim and Shanti D. On side A, Joe Pilgrim, the official singer of the Dub Addict Sound System signs with Humanity Arise, one of the best reggae tunes of the year! The title of Shanti D flipside is of the same ilk, Roots & Culture Style!

And that's how ends this beautiful series of vinyl. I hope that the next wait will not last a decade because we want sound of this quality everyday ! This will be available soon on 12” vinyl, distributed by Control Tower.
