Ancient Future - Protoje’s Album Launch

Launch party of Protoje's new album on March 9th in Kingston.

Fans and members of the music fraternity turned out in support of Protoje’s album launch. This album was well anticipated as it has been almost two years since his last album. The event was held on Monday, March 9th on the lawns of The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

This, his third album was entitled Ancient Future. The event commenced with a short documentary showing behind the scene video footage of his last tour. It was followed by the audience getting the opportunity to listen to each song on the album while Protoje and MC Sparkles introduced some of the key musicians, players, writers and producer of each track. Although it was an album launch, Protoje used the opportunity to set aside time for his fans to take photographs with him. The CD’s bought were also autographed as he interacted with the crowd while listening to the album.
