Celebrating 25 years of Moonsplash Festival at The Dune Preserve, was definitely another EPIC Reggae beach Party!
Keeping the tradition alive, Bankie Banx gathered his musician friends to put on two nights of cool beach jam settings, an event that is one of the 'craziest parties' in the world!
Maybe because of the atmosphere, the art, the music at The Dune, where peace reigns.
With the sound of the waves in the background and a beautiful view of St Martin/ St Maarten, Rass Bullet has created some great stage decorations.
Another highlight of the main night would be that Bob Marley moment shared by Third World, celebrating more than 40 years of Reggae Music, and Bankie, celebrating 25 years of Moonsplash, so you know they been 'Jammin'! And this is exactly the spirit of this festival, sharing great moments with awesome people and musicians.
The talk of the town for this year remains Bankie Banx stellar stage entrance, on a lighting elevator, he literally set the moon on fire before hypnotizing the audience with the sounds of his harmonica.
You know talent runs in the Banks family... Bankie Banx' son, Omari Banks (aka Banko) has 'No Point To Prove', after recently coming back from a JA and UK Tour, he performed his latest single 'No Point To Prove' backed by Third World at this special edition of the Moonsplash Festival.
And if you recently visited Jamaica, am sure you've seen huge posters of Banko on Constant Spring Road, or at Tuff Gong Recording Studios!
Freddie McGregor closed off Moonsplash 25 with tunes such as 'Big Ship', 'Africa Here I Come' and some sweet showers of blessings.
See you next year at Moonsplash 26!
