After a successful performance at the Sound System Festival in Richmond, Priory St. Ann, Downbeat the Ruler made an appearance at the Kingston Dub Club, Jacks Hill St. Andrew on Sunday night, August 9, 2015. For more than an hour selector Tony Screw delivered numerous selections, giving the audience a treat that they have not heard in quite some time. He played exclusive dub plates from artistes such as Ini Kamoze, Dennis Brown, Ambelique, Shinehead, Bitty Mclean and several more.
Tony Screw has a few more scheduled dates in Jamaica before departing for the UK and back to the USA where he is other scheduled dates. Known for not only playing exclusive selections he provided a lot of history while engaging his audience, something rarely done by present day selectors. During his juggling he brought on his protégé artiste K Vibes to sing a few selections, she was also well received.
