Ratigan was born in Portmore, Jamaica. He began performing at school. After he left high school he began writing and recording his own songs which caught the attention of Mad Cobra and they formed a musical partnership. Ratigan also produced many artists such as Gyptian, Spice, L.U.S.T, Terry Linen, Bascom X, Anthony B and Mad Cobra.

In 2012 Ratigan, Mad Cobra and Jallanzo built built their own studio with others from Brixton Music Group where they have been recording Mega Banton, Frisko Kid, Mad Cobra, I-Octane, Dubtonic Kru, Iba MaHrNature, Warrior King, I-Wayne along with innerhouse artists. Nowadays the studio is well-known in the area and plays a key-role in Portmore musical landscape.

We met him last year at BMG studio in Portmore to talk about the studio, the projects but also changes in reggae business. He also played his song Reggae Vibez with Jallanzo from Dubtonic Kru.

Then Ratigan played his song Reggae Vibez and shared the vibe on it with Jallanzo.
