July 23rd was a warm and sunny day in Danbury, Connecticut. The weather was perfect for reggae lovers who flocked to the park to see some of their favourite acts. The festival which grown over the years since its first inception in the late 2000 attracted a record crowd of over five thousand patrons who came to enjoy an afternoon of reggae music.
The event was particularly satisfying for the large Caribbean community who enjoyed more than the music, but were able to savour West Indian cuisine as well. Among the performers were Tonto Metro and Devonte and Third World. Third World band member AJ Brown delivered his rendition Andrea Bocelli and Sara Brightman, Time to Say Goodbye. By the time their performance had ended the patrons were on their feet. Beres Hammond closed the show and gave a solid set as is customary.
