High Times magazine began in 1974 as a counter culture go-to for all things cannabis. It was a time when marijuana was just plain illegal. Now that marijuana is rapidly being normalized around the world, High Times has spread its branches out to cultivate live events such as Cannabis Cups and music festivals.
This year they took over the production of Reggae on the River’s 34th year. It was a much smaller line-up than has been seen in the recent past and many felt it to be High Times’ dry run to get the kinks out of the production before coming strong with a full lineup and the infrastructure necessary to support maximum capacity.
