Wednesday, December 3rd was a hot night in Kingston City. On the same night that Sizzla was ‘blazing the fire' at Cru Bar Live in the City, singer Tanya Stephens was turning up the heat on men while performing live at Triple Century in New Kingston.
Known for using her lyrics to give life to a woman’s perspective on many matters, she went all out and communicated to her fans with lyrics that every woman would want to hear. The venue which was filled to capacity consisted of approximately ninety percent females, so her advocacy, opinions and perspective was very well received. She performed Corners of My Mind along with other tracks from her latest album titled Guilty.
Dressed in full black and her trade mark dark glasses, she also delivered such classics as Handle the Ride, Nuh Ready Fi This Yet and Slip Slide. At the end of her performance the ladies were obviously quite pleased and fully satisfied after being entertained by one of the great female songwriters to have emerged in the last few years.
