Nominations for the revived British Reggae Industry Awards are due to close on Wednesday 15th February. The official voting is set to commence on Thursday 16th February with the first round closing on Monday 30th April.
The top five choices from each award category will be shortlisted for a final round of voting lasting from 1st May to 1st August 2012.
The Awards themselves will take place at London's Indigo2 on 13th October 2012.
The BRIAs are the brainchild of veteran radio DJ Tony Williams and have been resurrected with the help of his daughter Tracey. They began in 1981 but ceased in 1997 with the rise of the less specialist MOBO Awards.
