Last night 64 year old reggae icon Jimmy Cliff won his second Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album with the acclaimed 'Rebirth', a set included in United Reggae’s favorite albums in 2012 and produced by longtime reggae aficionado Tim Armstrong, singer and guitarist in punk rock band Rancid.
This was Jimmy Cliff’s seventh nomination and this time he was up against The Original Wailers’ Miracle, Sean Paul’s Tomahawk Technique, Sly & Robbie & The Jam Masters’ New Legend and Toots Hibbert’s Reggae Got Soul: Unplugged on Strawberry Hill.
