Frenchie’s Maximum Sound imprint celebrates 20 years in the business this year. To highlight the anniversary the label will put out a 40 track retrospective collecting most of the riddims released over the years.
The compilation covers roots and dancehall and ranges from Bunny General’s 1993 release Spy Fi Die on the Kill Dem riddim via Bounty Killer & Lukie D’s burial tune Kill Another Sound to Konshens & Romain Virgo’s recent chart topper We No Worry Bout Dem on the Tin Mackerel riddim.
'Maximum Sound 20:20' hits the streets on September 16 on digital platforms only.
