The next classic Trojan album is coming.

Trojan Records has announced the release of a two disc special edition of John Holt’s classic 1,000 Volts Of Holt. Describing it as “arguably the best-selling long-player in the label’s illustrious 40-year history” Trojan has unveiled plans to include a raft of exciting bonus material. The new edition will contain 8 Jamaican mixes of already featured tracks (two of which have never seen the light of day before) as well as a second disc of previously unreleased material produced by Holt and pop producer Tony Ashfield, intended for an aborted follow up in the Volts series.

Further details will be available in due course at trojanrecords.com
