Sampler

There is a new single - only available on mp3 from Sun King Records website - in support of the black candidate for the White house. After Cocoa Tea’s Yes We Can, here is Rock Obama by veteran singer Claudius ‘Kingman’ Linton supported by his band and Ian Jones.

« Tell the big man up there and the poor man down here/ Let's rock rock rock to the love song/ Of Rock Obama » sings Kingman. The Jamaican urges Americans to vote for the change that Barack Obama represents. « It’s a changing time/ So put your shoulder to the wheel ».

After a 20-years absence, Kingman returned to the music in 2007 with Roots Master : The Vintage Roots Reggae Singles, a compilation including his hits and unreleased songs. In 2008, Sun King Records released Sign Time, Kingman's brand new album made in collaboration with American musician and producer Ian ‘Jonah’ Jones.
