As a serious reggae fan who discovered Jamaican music 25 years after the fact, I am eternally grateful for labels like Blood and Fire, Pressure Sounds, Heartbeat, Soul Jazz and several others for restoring and rescuing so much crucial reggae music from vinyl oblivion. Blood and Fire definitely raised the stakes when it came to re-releasing reggae, and their mighty catalog remains the cornerstone of my reggae collection. So here we go again with part two of this top ranking tribute, strictly Blood and Fire style! Music from King Tubby, Prince Alla, Ranking Joe, Welton Irie and more.
