The cult film by Perry Henzell adapted for theater.

A new production called The Harder They Come by Theatre Royal Stratford East company is starting at the Barbican (London) on the 6th of March.
The play is based on the groundbreaking film of the same name by Perry Henzell. Very good news for all reggae lovers from London! Moreover, a reggae band will be present alongside the cast to perform all the classic songs from the film soundtrack such as You Can Get It If You Really Want and By The Rivers of Babylon.

Also note that The Harder They Come season includes screenings of Jamaican film and a poetry night with Linton Kwesi Johnson, who will be joined by Dennis Bovell.
