The first single from Jamaican fast rising star Protoje’s upcoming second album 'The 8 Year Affair' – slated for release in early 2013 – is titled Kingston Be Wise and carries a strong message of anti-violence written shortly after the Tivoli Gardens massacre that accompanied the now infamous 2010 extradition of Christopher “Dudus” Coke.
It’s produced by Don Corleon – who has produced most of Protoje’s material so far – and is heavily influenced by Ini Kamoze’s England be Nice, originally released in 1984.
