The French sound system activists.

Sampler

Frenchtown HiFi vol 1These last years, the roots and dub sound system scene is riding high in France. Parties increase in many towns of the country as well as new productions. Here is a new release entitled "French Town HiFi - Vol.1" that will give you a good overview of this French roots and dub stepper movement. This new 35 tracks compilation - including vocals and dub - comes on a double CD and features tracks previously out on vinyl as many unreleased cuts. French Town Records gathered singers such as Mo’Kalamity, Fu Steps, Marina P, Ras Mykha… and dub producers such as Barbes D, Jacin and Ackboo.

As the title of the release suggest, a second volume should follow... Time will tell. Play it loud and stay tuned!
