Veteran Jamaican singjay Junior Kelly is back with a new album called Urban Poet, a set produced by Austria's Irievibrations. The first single off the album is the up-tempo and acoustic No Dig It Up, which was released in early July.
In a press release Junior Kelly describes the new album as his best work to date and that it is a fusion called "Motown reggae", which means a melting pot of live riddims, exciting musicianship and vocal artistry at its best.
"It was an absolute pleasure working with Irievibrations as they listened to me and gave me full autonomy to express myself," states Junior Kelly.
Urban Poet hits the streets on October 9.
