Mungo’s Hi Fi crew from Scotland strikes hard once again with a new riddim entitled Mexican Bean. We remember the Belly Ska Riddim that is still played today in dances. Now the heavyweight Mexican Bean should have the same success. Due out for release on September 1st, it will be available on two 10’s on Mungo’s Scotch Bonnet Records label. The first features Ben Jammin’s Mexican Bean (Jump Up Up Up !) and two conscious cuts, one from Afrikan Simba (The Media) and the other by Murray Man (Mash Up Jah Earth) ; the first about media and corruption, the second from the Birmingham deejay about war and poverty, before the tough Mash Up Jah Dub.
The second one features Brother Culture’s Talk To The People, Grudge and Vanity from Guinean born artist Lyricson (now based in France), veteran deejay Ranking Joe’s How You Bad So, followed by the dub of the Mexican Bean Riddim. Two new EP’s that will shake up your speakers.
