Heartbeat records, the label specialising in Studio One catalogue is about to reissue a dub compilation produced by the Man of Studio One, Clement Dodd aka Dub Specialist. Firstly released in 1995, the reissue features the original 17 dubs of vocal cuts by reggae legends as Cornell Campell, Horace Andy, The Heptones or Delroy Wilson, plus one unreleased track, and two additional extended mix bonus tracks (only available on the LP).
Originally entitled 17 Dub Shots From Studio 1, Hertbeat has renamed the compilation Dub. Dub Specialist is the orginial name used for 70's dub LP releases from Studio One. These albums were mixed by several engineers as Sylvan Morris, Syd Bucknor and Overton "Scientist" Brown, under the control of legendary producer, Clement Seymour "Sir Coxsone" Dodd. Out on 16th of September.
