A new compilation focused on Dennis Brown’s tunes produced by Niney The Observer’s from the mid’s 70 to the 90’s

Dennis Brown Heartbeat 2008

Due out on November 4th on Heartbeal label, The Best Of Dennis Brown: The Niney Years highlights on the collaboration between the producer Winston “Niney the Observer” Holness and Dennis Emmanuel Brown, from the mid 70’s to their 90’s reunion.

This is a 18 tracks compilation (+ 2 bonus tracks on the LP release) featuring killers from The Crown Prince of Reggae as Westbound Train, Cassandra, Tenement Yard, Tribulation, Here I come and Oh What A Day to name some of them. It also features combinations with I Roy and U Roy. Note that we found previoulsy unreleased extended versions of Give A Helping Hand, Whip Them Jah Jah and Westbound Train/ Train From The West featuring U Roy (only on the LP for this last one).
