Cultural reggae music comes to London's Leyton Football Club this Saturday with a special ensemble concert from Prince Alla, Leroy Brown, Afrikan Simba and friends. In a press statement to United Reggae, Afrikan Simba describes the event as one not to be missed :
"This Saturday December 19th 2009, all roads lead to Leyton Football Club, 282 Lea Bridge Road, Leyton, London E10 7LD (NOT LEYTON ORIENT), when Vital Resource and Royal Roots Promotion present 'Only Love Can Conquer' featuring Live and Direct from Kingston Jamaica, the Royal Prince of Rastafari music Prince Alla singing songs like Bucket Bottom, Daniel, Lots Wife and many more, plus roots veteran Leroy Brown singing songs like Blood Ago Run, Meet Me At The Corner, Peace In The Valley etc.
They shall be supported by the High Priestess of Roots, Sister Aisha, (Give It To The Creator, Glorify His Name and more), the humble lion, Tesfa Siyon (Food, Sistren and more) plus the Voice of Africa, Afrikan Simba,(Strengthen the OAU, Ethiopia, Sinner, Two Wrongs and more)
all backed by the Positive Vibes Band from Jamaica
PA's on the night shall be by Empress Ziona and Kiki High Grade, two very promising artists and Sounds by the mighty I-Creation with father Chris I at the control, North London Champions Fatman Hifi (added addition not on flyer), Big Foot from Station 89.8FM and Jah Col from Conscious 106.9FM in London. MC for the night shall be Isaac Natty, naturally. Guest Appearances from Prince Livijah & Nereus Joseph.
