The wait is finally over!

After 6 long years, Capleton, the Prophet, is finally releasing 'I-Ternal Fire', the follow up to his 2004 roots album 'Reign Of Fire'. His fourth album for VP records, once again referencing combustion in the title, 'I-Ternal Fire' promises to be one of the reggae events of the year.

The tracklisting is as below:

1. When I Come To Town
2. Acres
3. Some Day
4. Same Old Story
5. Mama You Strong
6. I Am In Love
7. Babylon Go Down
8. It's On
9. Global War
10. Call I
11. All Is Well
12. Them Get Corel
13. Long Way
14. Blessings
15. 400 Years

Like 'Reign of Fire' the album uses rhythms from several producers. Readers will be familiar with herb tune Acres (on Shane Brown's Discretions Rhythm) and Same Old Story (on Kemar McGregor's Rub A Dub rhythm). Overall, there seems to be a smoother softer sound to the songs than on 'Reign Of Fire' but on first listen the quality cannot be denied.

Scheduled for a June 21st release, you can taste the fire by listening to Babylon Go Down and Acres, two of 15 tracks to come currently.

A lot of similarities with Junior Kelly !

Junior Kelly has also an exclusivity deal with VP records.
They both never recorded too much songs.
Junior Kelly released 3 albums with VP in 2001, 2003 and 2005 (2 years between each albums, all other are unofficial compilations).
Capleton released 3 albums with VP in 2000, 2002 and 2004. Others are unofficial compilations

Junior Kelly also comes back on VP this year with a fourth album (5 years after last one).
