S.O.B's pays tribute to Lucky Dube

The World Music club in New York will host a Tribute concert to Lucky Dube on November 8, 2007

S.O.B music club will host Long Live Lucky Commemorative Concert - A Celebration of the life of Lucky Dube, the King of African Reggae on Thursday, November 8, 2007. The party will pay homage to Lucky Dube, international music icon, whose tragicly died on October 18th. Reggae and African artists from around the world have been invited and the full line up will be soon announced. Proceeds will be donated to Lucky Dube’s family.

Lucky Dube was shot in a car-jacking while he dropped his children off at his brother’s home in Rosettenville, South Africa. Lucky Dube was the biggest South african reggae singer. He used to spread messages of hope, unity and love throughout his music. With more than 20 albums recorded, the 43-year old artist was a reggae icon for all Africa and for all reggae lovers. Don’t forget him !
