Melrose Place goes on Reggae

Photographer David Corio will present 45 photos of reggae legends past and present as Bob Marley and Yellowman.

Reggae on melroseFor the occasion of Reggae on Melrose event, Melrose Place, Los Angeles will welcome a photo exhibition of renowed photographer David Corio along with 30 years of Greensleeves album art’ exhibit which will open on Saturday 17th. British photographer will exhibit his work including photos of Bob Marley, Shabba Ranks, Peter Tosh, Yellowman until December 9th. Saturday, from 1-8pm, live DJ set, musical guest , sales will accompany this event.

 

David Corio is a famous photographer and notably worked for Greensleeves Records. In 1992, he moved to New York and works now for the New York Times, The Times but also for Heartbeat and Island Records to name a few. Truly reggae lover, David Corio simply explains why he takes photos of reggae artists : "I have always loved the music so it was always good to be able to meet my musical heroes and get to photograph them when they were performing as well as doing portraits".
