Roy Cousins has never been a cult figure in reggae like Keith Hudson or Glen Brown, but he produced a lot of distinctive roots music in the 1970s as well as being lead singer of The Royals for many years. Cousin's Tamoki and Wambesi labels contain some seriously deep tunes and killer dub tracks. Strictly roots!
