Talented deejay Mikey Dread died.

Sampler

Mikey DreadMarch 16, 2008 is a sad Sunday. Indeed with a lot of grief, we have to announce the death of Mikey Dread, who was just 54. We knew that he was sick and Saturday afternoon he passed away, victim of a brain tumor.

Born Michael Campbell in Port Antonio in Jamaica, initiator of the radio program 'Dread at the Controls Show' at the JBC, he was a talented sound engineer. He will still exist through the discs of his excellent discography. As a tribute to his talent, let's listen to some of his greatest hits.

It's with great sadness that we offer our condolences to his family. Mikey, wherever you are, you'll always be on our minds, thank you for supporting  us throughout our various projects.
