After more than 20 years of musical silence and a come back last year with an anthology, Jamaican veteran Claudius Linton comes now with a new album.

Kingman and Jonah - Sign TimeAfter releasing an anthology with some of his greatest songs last year, the American label Sun King has just issued Claudius Linton's new album Sign Time. It's a collaboration with American musician and producer Ian Jones (under the names of Kingman & Jonah) recorded at Tuff Gong studio in 2007 as well as various parts of Jamaica and the U.S.

The CD contains 13 fresh new tunes on vintage style roots rhythms and a bonus mini-documentary on the making of the album. The musicians include such Jamaican legends as Ansel Collins, Horsemouth, Dwight Pinkney, Dean Fraser, Bongo Herman, Fully Fullwood, Chinna, Santa Davis and more.
