Springline Jamaica, the internet radio collective and record label, has announced the completion of an 11 track album devoted to previously unsigned artists, due for digital only release via iTunes and Rhapsody online store.
Featuring 9 different independent reggae artists from five different countries, the album, Univershall Style, is “all original material, soulful reggae, roots and dub” according to Springline founder Ras Gibsy.
In keeping with their ethos of helping up and coming talent Springline Jamaica has paid all distribution costs upfront for the artists. All profit from net sales will go to the singers and players, not to Springline themselves.
“The more albums the people buy the more the artists get back for their works.”
Univershall Style is due for release on September 30th.
