The talented Jamaican singjay Anthony B is back with a new album entitled Rise Up, that will delight roots sound fans. After Power Of Creation (2004), Black Star (2005) and Higher Meditation (2007), this is the fourth album produced by French producer Frenchie now based in UK and shows that both men can still deliver heavy roots productions together. It features 14 new tracks including three duos, Better Haffi Come with Chezidek, Enter The Kingdom of Zion with Horace Andy and Be Wise with Lukie D, that featured on Lukie D’s 2006 album Deliver Me. Two other songs were previously released in 2007 as 7’s on Frenchie’s Maximum Sound label : One Spot Herb on the Black Board riddim and The Place Too Red on the Ashanti Warrior riddim. Probably the big album of late 2008. Due out in October on Greensleeves.
EDIT - 09/09/2008:
The release date is postponed to January 2009
