Anthony Red Rose, the man who first voiced the classic Tempo riddim with his killer Tempa (1985) is back !
More than 10 years after Family Man (1994), the Jamaican deejay returns with a new solo album entitled My Name Is Red Rose. From dancehall to lovers rock, and of course roots and culture, Red Rose presents 16 conscious tracks featuring guests as Anthony B, Bounty Killer, Hawkeye, Jack Radics, Brian Gold, Mega banton and Vito. His new effort features as well self produced tracks as Sly & Robbie’s productions. Out now on CD on Anthony’s Red Rose label and also digitally released by Zojak World Wide.

Hi, I contacted Anthony Red Rose about a year ago through his MySpace page and suggested he put out a compilation of his singles from the 1980's. He thought it was a good idea and said he would talk to his record label about it. Do you know if this might happen? Could you ask him? Thanks, Tom |
