Easy Star All-stars have announced that they are rereleasing their three imaginative concept albums in Europe.
The first of these three albums is 2003’s 'Dub Side of the Moon', which received widespread critical acclaim on its original release and helped introduce reggae to a new and wider audience. This cover of the Pink Floyd classic spent over 5 years on Billboard’s Reggae Chart and features collaborations with Sluggy Ranks, Corey Harris, Ranking Joe, Kirsty Rock, Frankie Paul, Dr Israel, The Meditations, Gary ‘Nesta’ Pine and Dollarman.
The follow up to this album 'Radiodread', a cover of Radioheads 'OK Computer' was released in 2006. Again there were many collaborations with some of reggae big past and present stars like Horace Andy, Kirsty Rock, Junior Jazz, Sugar Minott, Toots & The Maytals, Citizen Cope, Menny More, Morgan Heritage, Tamar-kali, The Meditations, Frankie Paul and Israel Vibration's Skelly Vibe. The album spent over 18 months on Billboard’s Reggae Chart with sales in the UK in excess of 40,000.
Finally last years 'Lonely Hearts Dub Band', completes the set with yet more guest vocals from an impressive list of reggae, dancehall and dub greats including Steel Pulse, Matisyahu, Michael Rose, Luciano, U Roy, Sugar Minott, Frankie Paul, Max Romeo, The Mighty Diamonds, Third World's Bunny Rugs and Ranking Roger from the English Beat.
