News about reggae music, artists, culture and more...
It's pretty rare to see nice videos by reggae artists. Most of the time, they are self made or comparatively poor quality productions. For her first video, rising roots female singer Mo’kalamity teamed up with director Pietro Di Zanno who produced Ayo’s Down on my Knees video. The result is a beautiful and simple black and white video with a serious message.
Autour de Toi is a conscious rootsy and smooth tune about the "corrupted systems from North to South of our planet" who let people starve them out. Throught out this song, the Paris reggae princess, native to Cape Verde (Africa), asks everyone to pay attention to homeless and people who live in poverty, in our own districts as well as in other countries. The tune is issued from Mo’kalamity and The Wizards' second album titled 'Deeper Revolution'. Available at all good shops.
